Final blog from Russia

Hey everyone. I'm glad my mom was able to update you yesterday but we actually made it back downtown today. We leave Russia in approximately 12 hours.... well we leave the hotel at 4:00am 7:00pm your time. while you're eating supper i'll be checkin in at the airport in Russia!!!!! Crazy isn't it. we've enjoyed our time here but moscow is definately not the easiest city to get around. we just know how to get to 1 street with the things we need so we don't venture out much more than that! I just wanted to tell everyone that we are safe still and will be experiencing the longest day of our lives tomorrow. No really, Monday June 30, 2008 will be a 32 hour day for me.... it will be so wierd to get home only 11 hours after we left Russia. It really is a dream, and i think it will be a dream for the rest of my life. I can't wait to be watching the news or a movie and see the Kremlin and be able to say.... I"ve been there! How many of you ever thought that someone you knew would be inside the Kremlin walls? We had a blast at the art museum yesterday just like my mom said. We were actually able to move without being run over... etc. Wow, I'm leaving Russia. There are lots of things i am ready to get back to....
steaks, ranch dressing, Dr. Pepper!, MEXICAN FOOD! Loaded mashed potatos, green beans, Nachos, ... Dana's cookies.. lol it seems to be all we talk about is the American food! No wonder you never see "russian" resteraunts like you do mexican and chinese... whooooo ok, so now i have to get home and start making slideshows and printing pictures and cleaning out my suitcase that has been my closet for an entire month. can't say i'm exactly going to miss that. i'll blog as soon as i get home and i'll see you all sometime soon!
Thanks for taking my trip to Russia with me. This blog has really made the trip easier and more fun. I'll always be able to look back at it to remember my trip and those who decided to jump on board with me. Wish you were really here to see ... and smell... everything I did.

Will be glad when I hear that you touched down safely. What a trip, what a month, what a niece.
I'm glad you are coming home and bringing a small part of Russia with you. Don't know when I will see you, but expect to show me lots and lots of pictures.
