We finally got here and we are doing good. Just alot of 'shell' shock i guess you could say. I would say I'm doing much better. Yesterday was very difficult. We got here late at night, 5:00am actually and it was rainy, and lets just say..... there are no universities like this in the US. Kind of resembles the 'north side' of san angelo... if you know what I mean. the ten american girls are living together... with 1 shower... its a good shower though, so that helps. we have ventured to a couple supermarkets, which honestly are not that different from back home. the people aren't exactly friendly at first but they are warming up to us. we met with university students yesterday and they have helped alot. the 10 hours of sleep last night help alot too. being able to talk to people back home and getting your messages really helps. now that we know how to get in to the computer labs on campus we will be doing much better. we have a tour of krasnador this afternoon and we are just working on getting familiar with the place. its unusually cold here... they say summers are usually 80-90 degrees and its in the 60s right now, so we are going to to looking for some jackets later. i'm doing much better now. i haven't had a chance to put pictures up, and honestly i don't have many except from the plane window, but they are pretty good. the flight from dfw was interesting, i sat beside a man from bulgaria for the 10 hours.... interesting.. he had been in texas training with some kind of computer support program. (he had hair that was all the way down his back... like ALL the way...) but its time to move on to other e-mails... i'll be getting on soon again i'm sure... leave me messages!!!!!!!!!! haha eat some steak for me.... - kait
(forgive my typing, and lack of capital letters, the shift key on my keyboard is stuck and annoying me.)

I'm so glad you're online. I'll spread the word so you'll have some support soon. You sound more like Kait again. Pictures will be good, just so we will have a feel for where you are. Rex wants a pic of a Russian, like himself. mama
Hey, Kait
I am trying to figure out this blogger thing, I am a virgin at this. Did the hairy guy have hairy toes. You are a very brave girl. Just think of the memories that you are making. By the way what is the class you are taking? I am sure that your Mom told me but something about old age gets in the way. Don't forget to come home to Texas we miss you. Chat later, Debbie
Hey Kait. Russia huh. Sounds fun!
Hope you have a great time.

Kait, couldn't be prouder of you. Just enjoy the heck out of it all, even the difficult parts. Hope to hear all the details as you get time.
Don't get into any drinking contests.

Take care.

I've been thinking about you, especially when you said it was cool and cloudy. What we wouldn't give for a little of either one. HA!
I am proud of you for being brave enough to confront new frontiers, learn all you can and come back to Texas and tell us all about it.
Love ya,
Aunt Nancy
