Kait is camping

Kait emailed me Thursday and told me how to give ya'll an update. Here goes...

Hello, it is 10:00 a.m. here and you are just dozing off as I write this, kind of silly, huh?

I've taken pictures of the toilet (at mama's request) and shower. They are very similar to an American one. The shower is amazing, fantastic water pressure and never ending hot water. Not much has happened since the last blog.

Bad news, the next couple of days I won't be able to blog because I'll be camping, so there isn't exactly any internet services there... go figure.

We hang out with the people that live on our floor and share our kitchen with us. Some Swiss, some German, and an English girl from Finland, and the girl from Minnesota. It is like a regular UN or something.

I'm not sure what we're doing today, maybe ice skating. We may go to the BIG market, not the clothes market we were at. I'm retaining the Russian a little better, the fun thing is, its not even the "American Alphabet", its ceriliac or something (I have no idea of how it is spelled). You look at words, and you have to figure out each letter, and even then you have a Russian word you don't understand, its quite entertaining, actually. The website for this blog is written in Russian on this computer.... lol We have had much better luck communicating with the Russians. They have been much more accomodating to us and we are becoming Champs at Charades.

Thanks to everyone who reads and comments to me, it helps but I don't have time to email each of you personally. I hope you can see my smiles, everyone's comments are making me laugh and I really have begun to enjoy myself. Yay for camping, I"M REALLY excited about this trip. They say the 'facilities' are not so fantastic but it can't be worse than "Yogi Bear". They shut the camp down the day we checked out!! We didn't notice, we loved it but it wasn't up to par.....

Like she says, Kait is camping but I don't remember where - definitely not Miller Creek, Texas.

She'll be back blogging ASAP. Keep reading and commenting, she's having fun and wants to share.

later,ds

Camping? in Russia yet!! You are probably safer than camping here. ha! The wind and temps have been so bad here your mother threatened to get a motel room in Olney just so she wouldn't have to drive home against the wind. Yea, it's that bad.

Is the time flying by for you? Have a great time and I am waiting anxiously for your next blog entry.

Love ya,
Nancy

Bobby and I can't decide if she's really excited about camping or if she's being sarcastic. She liked to camp when she was younger, so she's probably seriously excited.
