yeah for high speed internet and a computer that works!

well we are in St. Pete's (SP from here on). The flight was cramped but it went well. i can't believe i waited 20 years before ever getting on a plane... i actually really enjoy the views from up there but it can be exhausting.
SP is Amazing.. the architectures is everything everyon etold me it would be plus so much more. the buildings look like are in fairytales because of all the color they use. Our govt. and prominent buildings in the US are generally white or gray stone, they don't have stone so everything is the cleanest shades of blue and green and yello, orange pink.... i LOVE IT.
No funny stories really today. We saw a 'student' ballet last night, and it was really good actually... it had a little bit of a modern twist which is expected from a student group. We visit a very famous theatre tomorrow to watch a professional ballet. We are definately going to stick out as americans because none of us brought the proper 'theatre dress' clothes. oh well they know we are foreign without us speaking anyway. Have a good weekend! i'll write again soon - kait

Sounds like an interesting place that I have always heard about but never had an eyewitness to tell me about it. Sounds beautiful. And gee you're missing all the things that make Texas so memorable, the wind, the hail, the thunder and lightning, the 100 degree weather. So enjoy yourself. Rudy

Kait wanted me to blog for her but, hm, you got it, I don't remember how. So, this will have to do.
She is in love with St. Petersburg. She loves the architecture and the colors and the history. She didn't like the l0 HOURS of walking on Sunday, in flip flops at that! They went to the ballet but she'll tell us about it Monday sometime. She is being very safe and cautious - she promises!
St P is 9 hrs ahead of Texas, FYI. She's ready to be home but not necessarily ready for the trip to end. Sorry, Kait, can't have your cake and eat it to. You are coming home! Right, AB?
