For some reason these computers don't let me put titles on my posts, sorry.
Yesterday was very similar to Monday in the fact that i didn't do much at all. Again, i checked my e-mail/blog and went back to the room and read for a while. Brittani and I traded books and hers is actually really interesting, so atleast its not a total waste of time. I took a nap too, the cough/cold isn't really bothering me except that I can tell its keeping my energy a little lower than usual. It rained yesterday, so the 1 pair of clean jeans i was holding on to before having to do laundry are officially muddy, so it looks like i'll be doing laundry today! yay....
Last night the mentors took us to a Karoke bar... and we had a blast. The book with all the songs was like 60 pages long, but only 1 1/2 of those were American songs.... and the ones that were on there were Terrible! We ended up finding a couple the guys sort of knew and were willing to sing. We all had a really great time hanging out. The "bar" was really modern and funky. it was in the same complex where we found Subway. We are talking about going back tonight to go Ice Skating and maybe have Subway for supper. Dr. Bankston even came out to Karoke with us for a little while. I think we are probably going to end up being a closer group than most of the other summer trips this year. There are definately a LARGE mix of personalities but we haven't had any HUGE conflicts yet.
It is about time for lunch, so i'm going to head to the cafeteria... yum yum. I know these posts have been short lately, but there really is not a lot to say! Maybe i'll have a good story for you tomorrow! - kait

Kaitlyn, I enjoy reading about your trip. Sounds like you have had some interesting days. I hope you have a great time during the next part of your trip. This sounds like a fun way to get college credit. Be careful! CU
